James W. Hilldrup

Fredericksburg attorney James Hilldrup is the founder and principal attorney at James W. Hilldrup, PLC, a Fredericksburg law practice with an emphasis on real estate law, including zoning, land use, and landlord/tenant matters, as well as business and corporate law. In addition, Mr. Hilldrup maintains an active estate planning practice including the drafting of wills, trusts and powers of attorney, as well as handling estate administration including trust administration and probate matters.

James Hilldrup is part of a family with a history in Virginia dating back to the 1700s. He attended both undergraduate school and law school at the University of Richmond, earning his Bachelor's degree in 1977 and his Juris Doctor's law degree in 1980. He was admitted to the practice of law in the Commonwealth of Virginia in 1980 and is a member of the Virginia State Bar.
